Help turn practical AI security education into a business that makes a difference.
TryHackMyAI is building a hands-on AI security education platform where learners attack, defend, and understand real AI systems through practical labs, guided challenges, and realistic security scenarios.
We are looking for a U.S.-based Co-Founder who can help turn the product into a serious cybersecurity education business.
Ownership, with eyes open.
This is not a traditional salaried position. We are an early-stage startup, and there is no salary at this stage. Compensation will be structured around profit sharing and/or founder equity, based on contribution, commitment, and long-term involvement.
What you will own
- Build and execute our U.S. go-to-market strategy
- Drive B2B and B2C sales
- Build partnerships with universities, cybersecurity communities, training providers, companies, and potential channel partners
- Develop pricing, positioning, customer acquisition, and growth strategy
- Speak with customers and convert feedback into product and business decisions
- Help develop enterprise and education-focused offerings
- Research emerging AI security threats, vulnerabilities, attack techniques, and industry trends
- Help shape new AI security labs, research topics, and educational content
- Represent TryHackMyAI in the U.S. cybersecurity, AI, startup, and education ecosystem
- Help build relationships with investors, advisors, researchers, and strategic partners
Who we’re looking for
You should be someone who can sell, strategize, research, and execute. Strong candidates may have experience in:
- B2B sales, partnerships, business development, or startup growth
- Cybersecurity, AI security, AI/ML, or technical education
- EdTech, cybersecurity training, developer education, certification, or online learning
- AI security research: prompt injection, model abuse, agent security, LLM vulnerabilities, red teaming, model robustness, and emerging AI threats
- Building sales pipelines and closing early customers
- Creating partnerships with universities or enterprises
- Early-stage startups where roles are not rigid and execution matters more than titles
You should also be comfortable working with a technical founder and understanding enough about AI security to communicate credibly with security professionals, researchers, educators, and customers.
This role is probably for you if
You want to build something from the ground up rather than join an already-established company.
You enjoy finding customers, testing ideas, opening doors, forming partnerships, studying markets, and turning an early product into a scalable business.
You understand that an early-stage co-founder role involves risk, ownership, experimentation, and persistence.
What matters before you apply
- Must be based in the United States
- No salary initially
- Compensation through profit sharing and/or founder equity
- Significant commitment expected
- Cybersecurity or EdTech experience strongly preferred
- AI security research knowledge is highly valuable
